I'm Moving to Los Angeles!

Time has been flying by so fast. I can't believe it has already been over a month since my college graduation. Early this year when my roommate, Kyle Fischer, and I were planning our move to LA we thought it would be best to give ourselves about a month of buffer time, rather than moving right away; I'm very glad we did. This month felt quick and I still can't believe we are leaving on Monday.

The journey will take us 3 days (about 32 hours total). We're leaving on June 7th and should arrive on the 9th with stops in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'll be loading up my car and we have a moving truck, which will be towing Kyle's car. Our apartment is unfurnished, so we are trying to bring as much as we can, but we also don't want to overbear ourselves. We've been trying to find a happy medium. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly, I will keep you all posted. I am thinking I will make a YouTube video documenting our journey because how often does one move all the way across the country?

Living in Los Angeles has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. You never know how it'll go, so you might as well give it a shot while you're young. At least that's what my thought process has always been when it comes to trying to make it big in this industry. A lot of people seem to think there's a large element of "luck" when it comes to "making it." However, I recently spoke with someone who already has made it and he said otherwise. So, if not luck, then what is it? He said that it's all about hard work, consistency, and asking the right questions. Honestly, that makes a lot of sense. The longer you stick with it, the more of a chance you have at getting your dream job or just moving up in the world. It might take me 50 years, but if I keep working hard and putting the best version of myself out there, it will come, and that's what I intend to do.

P.S. If you know anyone involved with the entertainment industry, I'd love to connect. :-)
